Greefa has developed a SmartSort specially for cherry tomatoes. This sorting machine sorts cherry tomatoes with an average weight of 12.5 grams at a maximum speed of 144,000 fruits per hour. The cherry tomatoes are sorted by size and colour using black/white and CCD cameras and by weight in the manual feeder with integrated load cells.

A number of elements, such singulators, diabolos, V-belts and the pre-sorting area, are specially modified for smaller tomatoes.
